Rafael Bautista's Pixamundo comes to Cuba

Rafael Bautista takes big pictures; they fill the screen with rich colors and a depth, which belies the pixels on the computer screen. He titles his blog, Pixamundo – travels from around the globe, which has superb images from city to countryside to beach, East, and West. We are delighted that Cuba is at the top of Rafael’s list of places to visit. He considers that ‘the people, architecture, and colors are a photographers delight. Plus the sounds, scents and energy of the island continue to draw me back.’

From Old Havana to the sleep rural town of Viñales and gorgeous colonial jewel that is Trinidad Rafael has found his own niche, which illuminates these well-visited locales beautifully.

About Rafael Bautista
Rafael Bautista was born in central México, raised in Chicago, IL and lived in Southern California for over 20 years. More recently he has been dividing his time between Playa del Carmen, México and Southern California. As a child he would travel with his parents and four sisters back to their native México to visit family and ever since then he has had the travel bug. Although he majored in Art while in school, he didn't take photography seriously until a few years ago. But once he did, it renewed his creative interests from his youth and he has not looked back.  Now he travels exclusively to fulfill his photographic vision and is always looking for new destinations to explore. He shares his travel photography with the world on his personal blog at www.Pixamundo.com

And of all the places he has traveled to, which one do you think he prefers the most? Cuba! "I have enjoyed traveling to Cuba over the years. Its people, architecture, and colors are a photographers delight. Plus the sounds, scents and energy of the island continue to draw me back. Here is a sample of some of my favorite photos taken in that magical island."
