Cuba's digital destination
João is a 25 years rambler. He was born in Portugal but lived in three different cities in Portugal, in Amsterdam, Bologna, Barcelona and México. His academic career is also a reflection of his rambling addiction. He started as a Civil Engineering but soon changed to Computer Science to finish it in the Netherlands. After leaving in Amsterdam he decided to start a master in biological sciences and enrolled himself in Bioinformatics in Italy. Living with a guy paranoid with organization made him move to Barcelona, where he finished writing his master thesis. Back there he got lost in that wonderful city and everyday his passion with science decreased. He bought a reflex and fell in love with photography. When the thesis writing was finally finished, he bought a 3month ticket to Mexico but ended up staying on the other side of the lake for nearly a whole year, passing through United Snakes of America, Mexico, Guatemala and Cuba. Apart from traveling and working as a language teacher he took pictures. These are the pictures he took in Cuba.
