Cuba Absolutely Review
Complex Gaviota Kohly and El Bosque consist of two buildings 400m apart. They are in a quiet sector of the city on the banks of the Río Almendares surrounded by the Bosque de La Habana–the city’s green lungs. This is a good (and rare) midrange choice
The Hotel El Bosque is the better and less costly of the two. The 54 rooms are small but functional, there’s 24-hour internet, and a pleasant terrace out back overlooks the wooded slopes of the nearby river. There is a Gaviota shuttle bus to take guests into central Habana four times a day for a small fee. And don’t miss the only in Cuba two-lane ten-pin bowling alley which is a blast.
The Bosque Hotel is located along the Almendares River, very close to the International Clinic Cira García.
