Cuba Absolutely Review
Hotel Quinta Avenida Habana opened in January 2010 as a Barceló hotel. Now the Cuban chain Gaviota operates it. It is a good option for business travelers. It is set back a little from 5th Avenue and probably doesn’t reach the level of the adjacent Occidental. Not least the landscaping around the pool will require either a few years to grow in or a complete make-over.
There are free shuttle buses for hotel guests, running between the Quinta Avenida Hotel and Havana’s historical center four times a day.
178 new, spacious, tastefully decorated rooms, fully equipped with all modern facilities. All have a beautiful view of the sea, city or swimming pool. Two rooms are especially designed for those with disabilities.
