Obrapía #172, Habana Vieja
On the corner of Obrapía and San Ignacio Streets, one block west of Mercaderes, stands one of the oldest and best preserved homes in Havana, and despite its relatively simplicity, one of its most striking. The most significant element of its façade is the notable upper-story balcony on the corner, a perfect tower-lookout that affords a magnificent view of the two streets where the house is located.
Today it is home to the Centro de Desarrollo Artesanal, the Quitrín clothing factory and an art gallery.
