  • La Bella Habana lives up to its name. It is beautiful, tastefully designed and meticulously maintained with attentive staff that is engaging without being overbearing. Above all it is a calm place where you can escape from the hustle and bustle of Havana.

The menu (which is all available on-line) offers some good twists on a varied international theme including Hawaiian crepes and a chili tuna Habanera dish. Look for excellent meats including the traditional Cuban ropa vieja as well as decent pastas. The seafood selection is extensive and you can even get a good quality Greek salad.

My only reservation is that on a quiet night the place can seem a little too precious, you want to whisper to your dinner companion so as not to upset the overall harmony of the place.
