  • Formerly the Novotel, the 427-room Occidental Miramar is a large glass fronted creation opposite the Miramar Trade Center which while not to everyone’s liking represents exceptional good value and is largely underrated. Its clientele is remarkably diverse.

The place is refreshingly uncluttered and there is a feeling of space in the lobby.

The swimming pool is huge and there are comfort and amenities galore including six tennis courts and the only full size squash court in Havana. While the service is excellent, the more upmarket restaurant tends to be a little quiet and the buffet is unexceptional.

    Room description

The rooms are well decorated, stylish, bright and colorful.
